Houston, we have a problem: wallet backup and recovery. But its not the tech, its the human layer. Asking people to manage a 24-word seed phrase for access to their money is a big ask. Most arenât security pros, so backups stay fragile... prone to loss, theft, hacks, and simple human error.

But making additional unprotected copies exposes you to more risk. We fix this with a simple idea: your seed is split into two files â a Seed Map and Seed Codes â linked by a unique cipher, and encrypted. Alone, each file is useless. Together, they restore your wallet.

There was no 'point-n-click' dead simple way for non-technical people to safely protect a crypto wallet, and âpass it on after you're goneâ. So we built it.
EncryptFire is a standalone tool you run directly in your browser. Itâs just HTML + JavaScript with
no servers involved, so nothing ever leaves your computer. You can even use it fully offline on an air-gapped machine (... in fact we encourage it. Read more here).
On their own, neither file reveals anything. To recover the seed, you need both halves together plus the master password. The cipher map itself is encrypted with AES and protected by a mandatory 34-character password (letters, numbers, symbols), making brute-force guessing impractical.
A step-by-step wizard guides you with simple button clicks instead of typing seed words. The most hands-on task is managing the physical backupsâsaving files to separate USB sticks and storing the master password safely (e.g., a password manager and/or a deadman switch for inheritance).
In short, ENCRYPTFIRE keeps everything offline, uses standard cryptography, and splits your backup into two useless-by-themselves halvesâmaking cold storage more resilient if you handle the USBs and password properly.
